We recommend seeking personalised guidance to create a tailored plan for your singing development.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Understanding the Basics

  • As a singing coaching service, our Terms and Conditions outline the legal framework that governs the relationship between our clients and us. These terms are set to establish the rights and obligations of both parties, ensuring a transparent and fair engagement. Our Terms and Conditions are tailored to the specific nature of our services, emphasizing the importance of protecting both the clients and our business. It's crucial to seek legal advice to ensure compliance with local regulations and to address any potential legal exposure.

Key Inclusions in Our Terms & Conditions

  • Our Terms and Conditions cover various aspects, including eligibility criteria for our services, payment methods, the flexibility to modify our offerings, warranties, intellectual property rights, and the right to suspend or terminate a client's engagement.

  • All bookings confirmed constitute a contract with the teacher, who is self-employed and carries out private lessons in her own name.

  • Any payments made should be in pounds sterling.

  • These conditions apply to all bookings and to each contract between the student and the teacher. The expression ‘you’ and ‘your’ refers to the student.

  • Your personal details will be held in the strictest confidence in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will be accessible only to Maddy Radmall Vocal Studios (MRVS) and your teacher.

  • A booking gives us permission to send you booking confirmation and lesson reminder emails. Your personal details will never be passed to any third party. If you no longer wish to receive these, please indicate accordingly.

Booking Policy and Payments

  • Notification of cancellation or reschedule can be made by phone, email or text. The time stamped on the sent or received message will be used in calculation of the notice period.

You are personally responsible for telling your teacher if you experience any pain or discomfort during your lessons.

  • Students must understand that there is an increased risk of injury or vocal damage in singing or performing any of the given exercises while ill or recovering from illness, particularly if such illness is of the vocal tract and airways. Partaking in lessons and/or using the voice outside the lessons should be done at your own risk and assessing whether you are healthy enough to do so.

Notifications and Law

  • Neither MRVS nor the teacher will be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any obligations, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, e.g. a medical reason or force majeure.

  • Notification will be sent to you via phone, text or email to your teacher and will be deemed to have been received when confirmation of it having been sent is received.
